Websites known for being transphobic or untrustworthy, therefore unsafe for trans people to visit. Such websites might spread misinformation against trans people, as well as being discriminatory and hurtful towards us, so will not be linked to from DMC directly.

• Fair Play For Women - Run by a transphobic person, is in support of excluding trans women from women-only spaces in attempts to ‘defend the sex-based rights’ of women and girls.

• Mumsnet - Has several threads of transphobia, such as debating whether trans people should be allowed to exist at all.

• LGB Alliance - Excludes trans people from their fight for LGB rights.

• Women’s Place - Against self-identification for trans people in the UK, advocates for women-only spaces based on sex, not gender.

• AfterEllen - A TERF website excluding trans women from discussions around being a queer woman.

• 4thWaveNow - Is against young people accessing hormones and medical interventions.
